Large Party Broken up by Police and Fire

 

On the 21 Oct 2017 at approximately 1115 pm The Belleville Police attended a large party in the area of Mudcat Road and the Heritage Trail. Approximately 100 to 150 persons were present enjoying a large bon-fire.  The fire department was called in order to extinguish fire. After the fire was put out, it put a damper on the party, and participants fled the area.

 

Ride Check

Police set up a RIDE Check in the area of Mudcat Road and the Heritage trail to make sure that the party goers were sober.  A 39 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and operate motor vehicle with over 80mgs of alcohol.  He was released on a Promise to appear with a November court date.
