Arrested on warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On December 20th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., officers at the Quinte Courthouse arrested a 32-year-old male on an outstanding warrant. The male was released with a court date of January 10th, 2019.
On December 20th, 2018 at 10:30 p.m., officers from the Quinte West OPP turned over a male who was wanted on warrants. The charges included sexual assault, sexual interference, three counts of assault, and assault with a weapon. The 49-year-old Quinte West man was held for a bail hearing on December 21st, 2018.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
Belleville, Ontario – On December 20th, 2018, at 11:47 a.m. police attended at a motor vehicle collision on North Front Street at King George Square. One of the drivers was charged with being an unlicenced driver. There were no injuries.
On December 20th, 2018 at 4:15 p.m., police attended at a motor vehicle collision involving two cars on Sidney Street at Cascade Blvd. One of the drivers was charged with ‘following too closely’. There were no injuries.
