The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between April 20th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and April 21st, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.


Belleville, Ontario – On the 20th of April 2019 at 8:00 p.m., police observed a 35 year-old Belleville woman walking in the city’s west end. The female party was wanted by the Central Hastings OPP on a warrant for failing to appear for court and fingerprints.  The female was arrested without incident and later turned over the OPP.

Break & Enter

Belleville, Ontario – On the 21st of April 2019 at 2:30 a.m., police were called to attend Waller Home Hardware on Bridge Street East with regard to a business alarm call. Upon arrival, officers observed the front door smashed out. Unknown suspect(s) entered the business and stole a cash register and fled the area prior to police arrival.
