Impaired Driver
Belleville, Ontario - On the 22nd of April 2009, at 1:15 a.m., Police received a report of an Impaired Driver on Front Street.  The vehicle was located by officers and the female driver was arrested for Impaired Driving.  Police investigation determined that her readings were 2.5 times the legal limit.  A  40 year old Belleville woman was charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80Mgs. She was released from custody and will appear in Court in May 2009.
Stunt Driving
Belleville, Ontario - On the 22nd of April 2009 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a male driving a vehicle was observed by Police excessively Speeding as he was travelling on Station Street near the Via Rail Train Station. The driver was clocked by Police travelling at an speed of 104 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone .  Police stopped the vehilce, and a 21 year old Quinte West man was charged and will appear in Traffic Court in May 2009.  In addition to the charge, his driver's licence was suspended for 7 days, and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

 Bail Violations

Belleville, Ontario - On the 22nd of April 2009 at approximatley  6:00 p.m., a 14 year old Belleville girl was arrested for violating two of her Bail conditions.  She was charged with two counts of Breach of an Undertaking and one count of Breach of Probation. She was held for a Bail Hearing on the 23d of April 2009.

Breach of Probation
Belleville, Ontario - On the 22nd of April 2009, at approximatley at 6:30 p.m., Officers attended in the City?s north end in relation to a potential Breach of a Probation order.  A 26 year old Belleville man was on Probation and conditions of the Probation Order required that he have no contact with a person named in the Probation Order.  As a result of the investigation, a Warrant is being sought for the arrest of this male for one count of Breach of Probation.
Uttering Threats
Belleville Ontario - On the 22nd of April 2009 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Officers were called to a location in the City?s north end in relation to threats of death uttered to a victim by an ex-boyfriend.  Investigation into the matter revealed that a 35 year old Quinte West man had phoned the female victim and threatened her with death.  As a result,  a Warrant was issued for the arrest of this male for Uttering Threats. 
 Break and Enter/Assault Bodily Harm

Belleville, Ontario  - On the 22nd of April 2009, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Police responded to an east residence in relation to a disturbance that neighghbours described as a ?home invasion?.  Information received was that two males had assaulted the male homeowner inside his residence.  The homeowner suffered a broken nose, as well as cuts and bruises.  Both assailants, who were known to the homeowner had fled the scene prior to Police arrival. Arrest warrants are being sought for two Belleville men, ages 26 and 27.  The charges for both men include Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Break and Enter and Commit an Assault, and Unlawfully in a Dwelling House.
