Break and Enter Arrest

Belleville, Ontario ? On 22 July, 2011 at 3:51 a.m., police attended at a residence on Foster Ave in response to a report of a break and enter. It was reported that a male and female were observed within the residence stealing electronics and personal items. Police located a male and female matching the description of the thieves sitting in lawn chairs near a dumpster located in a parking lot on Dundas Street East. Investigation led to the arrest of a 25 year old Belleville male for break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime and a 41 year old female (no fixed address) for break and enter. Both the male and the female will appear in Provincial court for a bail hearing on Friday 22 July, 2011 at 2:00 p.m...

Impaired/Over 80 mgs Arrest

Belleville, Ontario ? On 22 July, 2011 at 2:00 a.m., police observed a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck travelling at a high rate of speed after squealing its tires eastbound on Bell Blvd and then north on North Front Street until the vehicle entered the eastbound 401 on ramp. The truck was splaying off the roadway which displaced gravel and dust as it rounded the curve of the on-ramp. Investigation of this incident led to the driver of the pick-up being charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol and as well Obstruct Police. Christopher Doolittle (18 years) of Quinte West is schedule to appear in Provincial court on 25 August, 2011.
