Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 November 2011, at 9:00 p.m. Police set up several RIDE checkpoints. A total of 80 cars were checked with no charges arising. The Officers also conducted checks on six local bars. There were no issues with the bars.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 November, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. Police arrested a 16 year old youth for breaching two conditions of his probation. The youth was held in custody awaiting a Bail hearing on 22 November 2011. His identity cannot be revealed under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 November 2011, at 9:10 p.m., Police checked a male on a bicycle on Coleman St. The 35 year old Belleville man was arrested for breaching a condition of his Recognizance. Jeffrey Zandbergen will appear in court on 15 December 2011.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 November 2011, at 5:00 p.m., Police attended on Maitland Drive in response to a complaint of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Police observed a lone male swinging a pool cue around. This male was arrested and the investigation revealed that no one else was involved. The 17 year old was released unconditionally to his parents.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 November 2011, at 10:45 p.m., Police attended on Coleman Street where a male had been peppersprayed. This male was treated on scene by EMS. The male would not provide Police with any information on his assailants.
Break and Enter and commit Mischief
Belleville, Ontario ? On November 19th, 2011, Police had attended at a compound on Dundas Street West where boats had been entered overnight and vandalized. A total of 18 boats and one recreational vehicle were damaged. The damage included spraypainting and the discharging of fire extinguishers. The investigation led to the arrests of two Belleville men on 21 November 2011. Brandon Lush, 21, and Joshua McCambridge, 19, have both been charged with 19 counts of Break and Enter and commit Mischief. Both will appear in court on 22 December 2011.
Break and Enter
Belleville, Ontario ? On 22nd of November, 2011 at 6:15 a.m., police attended at a business on Dundas Street East in response to an intrusion alarm. Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry by smashing the front window of the business. As a result of the subsequent investigation by members of the Belleville Police Service a 35 year old Belleville man has been arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Break and Enter. Jeffery ZANDBERGEN, was remanded into custody and will be appearing for a bail hearing on the 23rd of November 2011.
The two guitars that were reported stolen have been recovered.
