Belleville, Ontario On November 21st, 2014, at 5:55 a.m. police attended at a Baldwin Street residence as people could hear furniture breaking.  A 28 year old Belleville man was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act for failing to leave premises when directed.  No one was injured.




On November 21st,2014, at 8:08 a.m. an officer on patrol came across a woman in need of medical attention on West Moira Street at Coleman Street. The 30 year old woman was transported by EMS to Quinte Health Care.  Anyone who may have witnessed an altercation on West Moira Street between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. is urged to call Constable Waite at 613-966-0882 ext. 4083.  This investigation is continuing.



On November 21st, 2014, at 4:32 p.m. police attended at the Health Unit on North Park Street as a disoriented woman had walked into the building holding a knife.  The woman refused to set the knife down as directed by the police officers.  She was tasered at this point and taken into custody.  No one was injured in this incident.  The 31 year old Belleville woman was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and escorted to Quinte Health care for an assessment.






Arrest on warrants


Belleville, Ontario On November 22nd, 2014, at 1:15 a.m. officers were conducting bar checks in the north end when they observed a male wanted on warrants. There were 5 warrants totaling 13 charges for Bobby Lee Holland, 20 years old, of Belleville.   He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing on November 24th, 2014.  The charges include assault X 3, mischief, criminal harassment, fail to appear in court, breach of probation X3, and breach of recognizance X4.





Belleville, Ontario The Belleville Police Service responded to a total of 9 accidents across the city on November 21st, 2014.  These accidents resulted in property damage only as there were no reported injuries.
