Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville Ontario- At 11:15 pm officers responded to Pinnacle Street in response to a Bicyclist being struck by a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle was travelling southbound. The female Bicyclist in her 40's was taken to B.G.H with a non- life threatening injury.

The investigation is continuing.

Theft under $5000.00

Belleville, Ontario On 21 August, 2013 at 2:17 p.m., police attended at a business on Millennium Parkway in response to a report of 2 adult male shoplifters. While continuing with the investigation the 42 year old male resisted arrest by police.

Robert Pirstl is charged with one count of Theft under $5000.00 and one count of Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest. Pirstl is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on 19 September, 2013. The second male (19 years from Belleville) is charged with Theft under and is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 19 September 2013.


Belleville, Ontario On 21 August, 2013 at 0:57 p.m., police responded to a complaint of assault at a residence on Humewood Drive. It was reported to police that a 50 year old male assaulted a female. The male is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 16 September, 2013.

Mischief/ Thefts involving vehicles

Belleville, Ontario on 21 August, 2013 a resident from Golfdale Road and one resident from Hastings Drive reported that unknown person(s) entered their vehicles and ransacked it. Three residents from Montgomery Blvd and one resident from Montgomery Blvd reported thefts from their motor vehicles.
