Weapons-Arrest

Belleville, Ont- On the 21st of August 2017 at approximately 10:45Am Officer responded to a disturbance on Evans Street near the CN tracks. The investigation revealed that a male and female had confronted 2 males and began arguing that lead to one male threatening the others with a pair of bolt cutters. As the argument escalated the male then threatened the others with a firearm. The group fled upon Police arrival. After a short foot chase a 33yr old male from Belleville was arrested. He is charged with weapons dangerous and breach of probation. He will be held for a bail hearing on the 22nd of August in Belleville Provincial Court. The firearm was determined to be a replica handgun.

 

Break and Enter- Residential

Belleville, Ontario- On the 21st of August 2017 at approximately 5Pm Police investigated a residential break and enter on Isabel Street. The investigation revealed that sometime the previous day unknown person(s) entered the residence through a window. Once inside the culprit(s) removed approximately $200 in coins. Theft- Residential

Belleville, Ontario- On the 21st of August 2017 at approximately 5:50Pm Police investigated a theft at a Heartwood Drive residence. The investigation revealed that sometime during the previous night unknown person(s) entered the unlocked garage and removed a GT Mountain bike and Long skateboard. The bicycle is described as red and black valued at $500. The skateboard is described as a long board, black with a green surface.  The investigation is continuing.
