Robbery UPDATE Belleville, Ontario

As a result of an extensive investigation in partnership with Loyalist College Security and the Napanee OPP, Belleville Police Service identified 3 persons responsible for the robbery which took place on 21st November 2013 at Loyalist College Residence.

On 19 December 2013, Belleville Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police Tactical Response Units executed 6 search warrants and 3 arrest warrants in Belleville, Napanee and Deseronto.

Charged are:

Braedon Couvreur 18 years old of Belleville/ Napanee with Robbery using a firearm x2, Conspiracy to commit robbery.

Evan Sinclair 18 years old of Napanee with Robbery using a firearm x2, Conspiracy to commit robbery, Break Enter, Wearing a Disguise, possession of weapons dangerous, and Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana, Possession of Cocaine

Tyson Stevenson 18 years old of Napanee with Robbery using a firearm x2, Conspiracy to commit robbery, Break Enter, Wearing a Disguise, possession of weapons dangerous, and Possession for the purpose of Trafficking.

Kurtis Lloyd 22 years old of Deseronto with possession of weapons dangerous

As a result of the search warrants additional charges were laid.

Charged with Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana, Possession of Cocaine are 49 year old Patricia Sinclair of Napanee and 21 year old Tiffany Winfrey of Napanee.

Charged with Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana are 40 year old Eric Stevenson and 41 year old Lisa King both of Napanee

A large quantity of prohibited and restricted firearms, ammunition and illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Robbery Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 10:15pm on November 21st, 2013 police were dispatched to Loyalist College Residence in response to a possible robbery which security Commissionaires were responding to.

Police learned several people entered the residence wearing dark clothing and disguises. These males robbed several occupants of their personal property. It is believed the suspects were in possession of firearms in the commission of the offence. The suspects fled the residence on foot.

Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Team, OPP Eastern Ontario Tactical Response Unit, and the OPP K-9 Unit were dispatched to search the area. Some of the property was recovered. The suspects are still outstanding at this time. Forensic Identification Unit and the Technical Crime Unit are being utilized in the review of evidence.

The suspects are described as:

# 1 18-25 years of age, Male, white complexion wearing an unzipped black hooded sweatshirt with red shirt underneath, and blue jeans, approximately 6' - 6'3" tall, with a thin build, a distinctive low voice.

# 2 18-25 years of age, male white complexion, 6'3"6'5, stocky build. Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, blue jeans.

Two additional suspects were male described as wearing similar black hooded sweatshirts, blue jeans.
