Impaired Driver Belleville, Ontario
On the 21st of February 2015 at 5:30Pm an officer with Canadian National Railway Police observed a vehicle disobeying the railway arms and drive around the barricades on Elmwood Drive. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated. Belleville Police assisted and the driver was arrested after failing a roadside screening device. Breath samples were conducted where the driver was determined to be over the legal limit. A 47yr old male from Belleville is charged with Over 80 milligrams, Drive under suspension, Operating a motor vehicle with no insurance and using plates not authorized. He was released on a Promise to Appear in court on March 5th. His vehicle was impounded for 7 days and his licence suspended for 90 days.
