 Warrants 
Belleville, Ontario -  On 22 July 2009, at approximately 3:35 pm, officers with the Peterborough-Lakefield Police checked a male person and discovered that there were warrants for his arrest with the Belleville Police. The male was brought back to Belleville and was held for a bail hearing on July 23rd. The 21 year old city man faces charges of Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Breach of Probation, and Breach of Recognizance.   
 
Belleville, Ontario -  On 22 July 2009 at approximately 8:33 pm, officers were called to the intersection of Catharine and Coleman Streets to investigate a report of an intoxicated male. Upon arrival, they found the man to be extremely intoxicated and he was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. It was later learned that there were outstanding warrants for his arrest from the Belleville Police for the offences of Over 80MG, Impaired Driving, Fail to Appear in Court, and Fail to Appear for Fingerprints. The 55 year old Belleville man was held for a bail hearing on July 23rd 2009. 
Break and Enter
Belleville Ontario - On 22 July 2009 at approximately 10:40 pm, Police were called to a Wilkins Street residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. The homeowners had arrived at the house and had scared off two males from inside. The residence was entered sometime after 10:15 pm and the suspects who fled on foot were described as male, Caucasian, both in their 20?s, medium builds with dark hair and approximately 5?8? tall. One was wearing a two tone sweater with one colour being white. Investigation revealed that they had entered the house through a rear window and that nothing had been stolen prior to them being scared off. The Belleville K9 unit attended the scene and checked several locations however was unsuccessful in locating the suspects. The investigation is continuing.
