Belleville, ON - At 7:00 p.m. officers attended on Station Street in regards to reports of a female screaming. Upon arrival officers spoke to a female who alleged that her partner had assaulted her. As a result a Belleville male in his 30’s was arrested for assault and two counts of uttering threat. He has held for a bail hearing on Monday. There were no injuries.


Impaired Driving

Belleville, ON - At 3:00 a.m. officers attended on Highway 2 East at the intersection of Mitchell Road. Officer received information that a car had hit a hydro pole. The driver was arrested for impaired driving.  As a result of the investigation the Nathan Hitchon was charged with impaired driving and over 80. He was was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date in late August.



Belleville, ON - At midnight officers attended on Hilton Place in regards to a fire. An unknown person had splashed a flammable liquid on the garage door of a residence and set it on fire. A passing Taxi driver put out the small fire and woke the residence. There was minor damage. Police are requesting the public to contact them if they have any information or contact Crime Stoppers.
