Recovered Stolen Property

The Belleville Police Service is continuing the investigation involving the arrest of 4 individuals after a foot chase in the Cannifton Road and College Street East area at 8:30 p.m. on Monday 21 March 2016 at 8:30pm

A substantial amount of stolen property from crimes in Belleville and the Greater Quinte Area, including jewelry, electronics and other items has been recovered by Officers.

City Police are inviting citizens from Belleville and also surrounding municipalities, who have been victims of a theft from vehicle or a residential break and enter – recently within the last month - to attend the Belleville Police Service – tomorrow - on Wednesday 23 March 2016 between 8:00am and 4pm to view and identify property or alternatively to contact one of the investigators for information preferably via email.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario – On March 21st 2016, at 8:30 p.m. police were involved in a foot pursuit with 2 suspects on the CN tracks at the Cannifton Road underpass. The suspects were in possession of stolen motor vehicle. Further police investigation led to the arrest of 4 males. Adam Reid 32yrs, David Reid 23yrs, Damien Helm 20yrs and a male young offender all of Belleville. The males face charges for bail violations and numerous property related offences. All 4 males will appear in Belleville Bail Court later today. (22 March) Anyone with information is asked to contact CrimeStoppers or Constable Waite at 613-966-0882 ext. 4083
