Break and enter

 

Belleville, Ontario –On May 22nd, 2014, at 2:55 a.m. a witness reported a break and enter to the Victoria Convenience Store on Victoria Avenue at William St.  A description of the male suspect was provided. Responding officers confirmed that the glass was broken in the door. Officers ended up in a foot pursuit with the suspect on William St.  A 25 year old male was arrested for break and enter. He was also charged with breach of an undertaking.  He was held for a bail hearing on May 22nd, 2014.

 

 

Theft from cars

 

Belleville, Ontario – On May 22nd, 2014, at 3:49 a.m. a witness observed a male attempting to gain entry into parked cars on Pinnacle St.  The male fled on Pinnacle St. but was arrested a short distance away.  A 21 year old Belleville man was arrested for attempted thefts from vehicles.  When arrested, he had a marijuana in his possession.  He was also charged with two counts of breach of an undertaking.  He was held for a bail hearing on May 22nd, 2014.

 

 

Arrested on warrant

 

Belleville, Ontario – On May 22nd, 2014, at 12:05 a.m. officers were conducting bar checks on Front St.  A check of a 28 year old Prince Edward County man revealed that there was a committal warrant for his arrest from Traffic Court.  He was to serve a 7 day sentence for driving while under suspension.  He will be escorted to jail in the morning.

Disturbances

 

Belleville, Ontario – On May 21st, 2014, at 7:15 p.m. officers attended on Pinnacle St. in relation to an intoxicated male walking a small dog.  A 34 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.  The dog was put into the care of Animal Control.

 

On May 22nd, 2014, at 1:45 a.m. police attended at a Bridge St. West residence in relation to a disturbance. A 63 year old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace.  Alcohol was a factor in this incident. There were no charges.

 

 

Theft of trailers

 

Belleville, Ontario – On May 21st, 2014, there were two reports of stolen trailers.

A homeowner on Airport Parkway reported his 2007 homemade trailer stolen.  It had a licence plate # D7454X attached.

 

A homeowner on Blessington Road reported his trailer stolen. It is described as a 6’ X 16’ utility trailer.
