Domestic Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 2:21 am on December 23, 2013 police were dispatched to an Emily Street residence to investigate a report that a male suspect had kicked in a door and entered the home. Upon arrival they discovered the male along with a female inside. The investigation revealed that they had been in a domestic dispute nearby and that she had fled into the residence and locked the door. He then attended and broke it down prior to police being called. The residence was vacant at the time of the incident and the male suspect was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. A 40 year old Belleville man faces a charge of Break and Enter. He has been held for a bail hearing on December 23, 2013 and his name will not be released to protect the identity of the female.
