Belleville, Ontario ? On 22 April 2012 at 9:45 p.m., police attended at a on Albion Street in response to . Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry between 9:10 p.m. and 9:40 p.m.and stole . This investigation is ongoing.

Disturbance

Belleville, Ontario ? On 22 April 2012, at 5:00 p.m., police attended on Dundas Street East with regards to a combative male. A 49 year old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace and lodged in the cells. He was released unconditionally.

Pursuit

Belleville, Ontario - On April 22nd, 2012, at 3:35 a.m., Police attended on Tripp Avenue in relation to a Dodge Neon that had crashed into a parked car. The Neon failed to stop for Police and short pursuit ensued. The Neon travelled to N. Palmer Rd at Bridge Street West. The Neon lost control and ended up striking the cruiser. The Neon continued back to West Moira St. where it pulled into the parking lot of an apartment building after striking the cruiser a second time. The driver fled on foot and was arrested a few minutes later. A 16 year old Belleville youth remains in custody awaiting a Bail Hearing. His charges include: Failing to remain at the scene of an accident, Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police, Uttering threats, and Assault with a weapon. He also faces a host of traffic offences. Both the cruiser and the Neon suffered moderate damage, while the parked car had minor damage. Both the youth and the officer driving the cruiser were treated at Quinte Health Care for minor injuries and released.
