Belleville, Ontario – On April 22nd, 2015, at 3:51 p.m. police attended on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road at Hamilton Road in relation to a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. EMS attended at the scene and treated the rider for minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.

At 5:45 p.m. two vehicles sideswiped each other on Dundas Street East near the Dairy Queen. The mirror on the westbound pick-up truck was snapped off by an eastbound vehicle. The eastbound vehicle failed to remain at the scene. Any witnesses to this accident can call the Belleville Police Service or Crimestoppers.

Traffic Violations

Belleville, Ontario – On April 22nd, 2015, at 7:45 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on College Street West. The driver, a 29 year old Belleville woman, was charged with driving while under suspension. The owner, a 40 year old Belleville man, was charged with permit operation of vehicle without any insurance.  The plates were removed from the vehicle as the vehicle was deemed defective. Both persons will appear in Traffic Court on May 25th, 2015.
