Belleville, Ont. - On the 23rd of January, 2010 at 12:21am police responded to a Bleecker Avenue residence regarding a mischief. The residents returned home and surprised a 17 year old male who was spray painting a vehicle in the driveway. The youth was known to the residents but fled before police arrived. Investigation continuing.

Belleville, Ont. ? On the 23rd of January, 2010 at 12:41am a report was received that a large window to the ScotiaBank at the Quinte Mall had been smashed. Police checked the area but was unable to locate any parties responsible.

Bail Violation

Belleville, Ont. ? On the 23rd of January, 2010 at 3:00am a 21 year old female attended at the Belleville Police Service advising she present to sign in. Her release condition stated she was to sign in on Fridays, which was the 22nd of January. She was charged with Breach of her Recognizance, with a court date in March.
Break & Enter

Belleville, Ont. ? On the 23 January, 2010 at 6:39 p.m. police responded to a report of a Break and Enter in progress. A resident on Christian School Road was visiting at a neighbours when he heard his dogs barking. He returned to his resident to find a male kicking at the door trying to gain entry. The resident gave chase but returned to his house and called police. Canine officer attended and searched the area. No one was located.
