Belleville, Ontario – On June 22nd, 2014, at 5:53 p.m. police attended on Catharine Street at Isabel Street as a cyclist had been struck by a car.  The cyclist, a 31 year old Belleville man, was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.  The cyclist was not injured.

At 7:02 p.m. police attended on Dundas Street West at Palmer Road in relation to a two-car accident.  A 41 year old Belleville man was charged with "start from a stopped position – not in safety”.  There were no injuries.


Belleville, Ontario – On June 23rd, 2014, at 1:19 a.m. Belleville Fire Department and police responded to a structure fire at 232 Coleman Street.  The fire was quickly brought under control by the fire department. The residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire. *** Coleman Street remains closed between Catharine Street and Jane Street.*** Belleville Fire inspectors are continuing the investigation.
