Man flees store security on May 21st/surrenders on May 23rd
Belleville, Ont. - On May 21, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., a male fled from store security in the parking lot of Walmart. In addition to leaving behind the stolen property, he also left behind his family in the family van. On May 23rd, a 32 year old Belleville man attended at the Belleville Police Service. He was charged with Fraud under $5000.00 and Escape Lawful Custody. He will appear in court on July 23rd.
Arrested on warrants
Belleville, Ont. - On May 23, 2009, at 11:15 p.m., a 16 year old Belleville female was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
On May 24, 2009, at 1:00 a.m., a 29 year old Belleville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Transportation Fraud
Belleville, Ont. ? On May 23, 2009, at 3:05a.m, a 41 year old Belleville Male was arrested and charged with Transportation Fraud. The male hired a cab and at the end of his ride refused to pay the can fare. The male was released with a May court date.
Imitation Weapons
Belleville, Ont. ? On May 23, 2009, at 4:15p.m., Police responded to a complaint from  the Quinte Mall that three youths were walking within the mall with one of the youth carrying what appeared to a hand gun within the front belt area of his pants. Police located the three youths a seized a toy gun a 12 year old male. He and the other two male?s ages 12 years and 15 years were cautioned for their actions as well as Trespassed from entering the Mall in the future.
