Theft From Motor Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 23, 2009 at approximately 6:15 am Police received the first call of 5 regarding thefts from motor vehicles overnight. Items stolen where GPS Units, Compact discs, wallet and spare change. Vehicles were left unlocked overnight. Locations were Chatham St., Foster Ave., and Lingham St. No suspects.
Bail Violation
Belleville, Ont. ? On September 23, 2009, at approximately 8:19 a.m., police received a call regarding a complaint from a 17 yr old female that she had been contacted by a male, who was on a Recognizance of Bail with conditions not to communicate with her.
A 32 yr old Belleville male has been arrested and charged with breaching his release condition. He is being held for a Show Cause Hearing on 24 September, 2009.
Motor vehicle collision
Belleville, Ont. - On September 23, 2009 at approximately 1:45 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Avondale Road in regard to a 3 vehicle accident. Belleville Fire and Ambulance were on scene also. One passenger was transported to Belleville General Hospital with minor injuries. One of the driver?s has been charged with failing to Stop for Red Light.
Break and Enter(s)
Belleville, Ont. - On September 23, 2009, two Break and Enters were reported to police. A Pinnacle Street business was broken into sometime over the weekend. The office was ransacked however nothing was taken. Multiple trailers were also broken into overnight. These trailers were being stored at a secure site in the east end of Belleville. Various items were reported stolen and/or damaged from each trailer. Both of these incidents are currently being investigated by police.
