Accidents
Belleville, Ontario – On September 22nd, 2015, between 11:15 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. police responded to seven accidents:
At 11:15 p.m. police attended at Sidney St. at College St. West in relation to a two-car accident. A 32 year old man was charged with follow too closely. There were no injuries.
At 1:04 p.m. police attended on College St. East for a minor two-car accident. The drivers were referred to the Collision Reporting Center.
At 1:36 p.m. police attended on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road for another minor accident which was referred to the Collision Reporting Center.
At 5:00 p.m. police attended on West Moira St. in relation to a two-car accident. EMS attended to treat one of the drivers for minor injuries. One vehicle was towed from the scene. The investigation is continuing.
At 5:09 p.m. police attended in the parking lot of 305 North Front St. in relation to a two-car accident. It was referred to the Collision Reporting Center.
At 6:00 p.m. police attended on Bell Blvd. at North front St. in relation to a two-car accident. A 52 year old Toronto man was charged with failing to yield to traffic. There were no injuries.
At 7:10 p.m. police attended in the parking of the Quinte Mall in relation to a two-car accident. There were no injuries.
Disturbances
Belleville, Ontario – On September 22nd, 2015, at 5:45 p.m. police attended on Gordon Street in relation to an unwanted male. A 44 year old Belleville man was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act for failing to leave premises when directed. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice. Alcohol was a factor in this incident. No one was injured.
On September 22nd, 2015, at 6:45 p.m. police attended on Dundas Street West in relation to a disturbance. A 30 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for public intoxication. There were no injuries.
