Theft - Belleville, Ontario

 

On August 23rd, 2014 police received numerous complaints about cars being entered overnight on Hastings Drive, MacDonald Gardens, and Bridge Street East. One vehicle is missing a dog shock collar in a black hard shell box. Inside the box was a hand held remote as well as an antenna. Also taken was a Coleman 10 X 10 pop-up tent shelter.  The tent is tan in color and was stored in a tan bag with wheels.  The final item taken was a gift basket with 3 candles and a $100.00 gift certificate for a local spa.

 

On August 23rd, 2014 at approximately 1:00pm police were called to attend Giant Tiger regarding a daring daytime theft a male suspect that had stolen several videos and had fled from the store. Police were able to flush this bandit out and he was arrested without incident. A 32 year old Belleville man will appear in a Belleville Court in early October.

 

 

Assault with a weapon - Belleville, Ontario

 

On August 21st, 2014 at approximately 1:30pm on Moira Street West a lone female was involved a heated verbal altercation with another couple during this time the lone female struck the male party with her high heel shoe causing non-life threatening injury. On August 23rd the 24 year female suspect was arrested without incident and will appear in a Belleville court in late September.
