Recovered Stolen Vehicle

Belleville, Ont., -  2009/02/24 01:03  police were called to Point Anne Road in relation to a burning vehicle. Police and Fire crews attended the scene and the vehicle, a 1992 Green Mazda was completely destroyed by fire.  Further investigation determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen the previous day. 

 

 Stolen Vehicles

 

 Belleville, Ont -  On February 24 2009 at  5:51am Police were called to a report of a stolen vehicle which appears to have been stolen sometime overnight. The vehicle has License plates Ontario BAMP845 and is described as 1995 Red 4 door DODGE NEON.

 

Belleville, Ont -  On 24 February 2009 at  08:28 am  Police were called to a Dunnett Blvd residence for a report of an attempted theft of a vehicle some time overnight.  It appears suspects punched the ignition in an attempt to steal the vehicle causing damage to the ignition. This vehicle was also described as a 1999 Red, 4door DODGE NEON.

 

  Belleville, Ont., - On 24 February 2009 at 9:07am, Police took a report of another stolen vehicle from a residence on Wright Ave.  It appears that some time overnight suspect(s) removed a 1999 Black 4 door DODGE NEON from the driveway. The vehicle had license plates BEWF209 attached and had a full tank of gas.    

 

Belleville, Ont., - On 24 February 2009 at 9:23am, Police were called to a residence on College Street East to investigate the attempted theft of another motor vehicle.  Investigation revealed that sometime overnight, unknown suspects entered a 1996 4 door White DODGE NEON causing damage by punching the ignition in an effort to steal the vehicle.     These incidents are still under investigation.
 
 

 

Domestic Assaults

Belleville, Ont., - On 24 February 2009 at approximately 11:40 am police were called to a Cannifton Road apartment in relation to a domestic disturbance, with allegations of a baseball bat being used.   Officers on scene determined both parties were involved in assaulting one another.  As a result, a 23 year old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon and was released. As well, a 25 year old Belleville man has been arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Assault, and is being held for a Bail Hearing on 25 Feb 2009.
