Liquor Licence Act
 
Belleville, Ont. ? Overnight January 23-24, 2010, between 10:00 p.m. and 2:42 a.m., a total of 7 persons were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place at various locations throughout the city. A 31 year old Belleville male was arrested on John Street. A 35 year old Sharbot Lake male, a 24 year old Parham male, a 20 year old Belleville male, a 22 year old Belleville male, and a 45 year old Belleville male were all arrested at a North Front Street Bar. A 24 year old female was arrested on Boyce Cres.
All were arrested for their own protection and later released with a Provincial Offences Notice for this offence.
 
Fire
 
Belleville, Ont. - On the 24 January, 2010 at 2:57 a.m. police were asked for assistance by the Belleville Fire Department at the apartment building at 191 Palmer Road due to a fire in a 7th floor apartment. Officers closed down Palmer Road and assisted with crowd control and evacuation of the building. Centennial Secondary Administrative staff attended and opened the school for the displaced residents from 191 Palmer Road, for a place of shelter and warmth. Victim Services Belleville Transit and Red Cross were also on scene to assist the residents. No injuries are reported at this time. The fire is under investigation by the Belleville Fire Department.

Theft of ATV

Belleville, Ontario ? Between January 23, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. and January 24, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. the victim reports that unknown person(s) stole his Green, 2006 Honda, License number 03KVO from the back yard of his residence on Moira Street West. This investigation is ongoing.

Theft from Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? On January 24, 2010, between 1:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. unknown person(s) entered a vehicle that was parked at a residence on Lexington Crescent. The suspects stole a TOM TOM GPS and some CD's. This investigation is ongoing.

Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On January 24, 2010 at 9:02 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Burton Street in response to a complaint of a break and enters. Unknown person(s) had gained entry through a bathroom window sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. There was no property stolen.

Belleville, Ontario ? On January 24, 2010 at 9:38 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Village Drive. The resident reported that a male unknown to him had just walked into his residence. The suspect is described as a male approximately 6', wearing a white coat and a dark hoodie. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, Ontario ? On January 24, 2010, between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. the resident of a Holloway Street residence reported that unknown person(s) forced entry via a window and stole a Laptop computer, a Nintendo WII and some DVD's. This investigation is ongoing.
