Motor Vehicle Collision – Impaired and Over 80mgs Charge

Belleville, Ontario – On June 24th, 2017, at 12:45 a.m. the Belleville Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Ashley St in Foxboro where a motor vehicle struck a hydro pole deploying the air bags.  Shortly after arrival by officers, it was determined that the 21 year old female driver had been consuming alcohol and registered a fail on the roadside screening device and she was arrested.  The 21 year old Stirling female will appear in court on July 13th on a charge of “impaired driving and over 80 mgs”.

Located Missing 81 year old female

Belleville, Ontario – On the 24th of June 2017 at 4:05 am, the Belleville Police responded to a report of a missing 81 year old female who suffers from dementia.  The missing woman lives in the West end of Belleville.  Her husband had noticed her missing and called police immediately.  Police responded and searched the area and were able to locate the woman who was hiding behind a tree in the neighbourhood.  The woman was returned to her residence in the care of her husband.  She did not suffer any physical injuries.
