Belleville, Ontario – As a result of a report of mischief from the 22nd of March at 9:30 a.m. at a local school, a 16 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged on the 23rd of March. The male who was causing a disturbance at the school on the 22nd allegedly kicked a hole in the wall of the classroom, leaving prior to police arrival. The male was located by police on the 23rd shortly before 9:00 a.m. and released on an appearance notice after being arrested. The youth, who cannot be identified, was given a court date of April 16th, 2019 to answer to the charge of mischief under $5000.
Breach of the Peace
Belleville, Ontario – On the 24th of March 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m., after being called to an east end residence for a second time with relation to a male acting out, police arrested a 26 year old Belleville male for breach of the peace. The male, who had been drinking, was allegedly both inside and outside the residence breaking glass. He suffered minor cuts to his hands that did not require medical attention and was held until morning before being released unconditionally.
