Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 9:45 pm on May 23, 2014 police attended at a Tracey Park Drive residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 12:30 pm on May 21st and 12:00 pm on May 22nd unknown person(s) broke in by prying open a rear door. A quantity of jewellery and a cheque book were reported stolen from inside. The Belleville Police Service Forensic Identification Unit was called in to assist with the investigation which is ongoing. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Domestic Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 11:53 pm on May 23, 2014 police were called to a Johnson Street residence to investigate a report of a male and female causing a disturbance outside of their residence. The investigation revealed that the two had been involved in a dispute and the female had thrown a coffee mug at the male which struck him causing minor bruising. The female was arrested at the scene and transported to the Belleville Police Service. A 33 year old Belleville woman faces a charge of Assault With a Weapon. She was later released from custody on a Promise to Appear with a court date of June 9, 2014. Her name will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
