Belleville, Ontario - On November 23, 2013, at 7:30Pm responded to a residence on Palmer Road for a robbery. Investigation revealed that 2 males attended the residence and were let in by the occupants. Once inside one of the suspects sprayed the occupants with a bear spray type of substance. The other suspect removed some property and both suspects fled on foot.

Police located one of the suspects in a nearby residence and continue to look for the second male.

A 21 year old male from Belleville is charged with Robbery. He was released on a promise to appear with conditions and will appear in court the 9th of January 2014.

A warrant will be sworn to for the arrest of a 28 year old male from the Madoc area on charges of Robbery and assault with a weapon.

The three victims were treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Services.
