Stolen Vehicles

Belleville, Ontario – On the 23rd of October 2017 in the morning hours, the Belleville Police Service responded to two separate reports of stolen vehicles from residential driveways which occurred overnight in the east end of Belleville. 

One of the vehicles, a 2009 Ford F-150 truck was reported stolen and later recovered in a field in the east end of Belleville. 

The second vehicle bearing Ontario Licence # BPBS 638, a 2012 grey Dodge Caravan with a “Stop Texting” magnet on the back is still outstanding. 

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and don’t keep a spare set of keys inside the vehicle where they can be easily located.  


Arrested on Warrant

Belleville, Ontario – On the 24th of October 2017 at 12:46am, officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle on Dundas St. West near Coleman St regarding traffic violations.  During their investigation, an occupant of the vehicle was determined to be the subject of an arrest warrant from the Napanee OPP for Break and Enter.  As a result, the 31 year old male was arrested and turned over to the OPP.
