The Belleville Police Service responded to 65 calls between September 23rd 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and September 24th 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville ON-On the 23rd of September 2019 at 7am police responded to the west end regarding a male who was unwanted at a residence.  It was determined that the male was currently wanted on 3 outstanding warrants.  The male was located on Sidney street and after a short foot chase the male was located hiding inside another residence.  36-year old Ryan Hinks of Belleville was arrested and held for a bail hearing.

Found boat

Thurlow ON- On the 23rd of September 2019 at 9am police attended the Moira river in the area of Ashley Street regarding a boat found drifting on the river.  If you are the owner or have any information regarding the boat you are asked to contact Constable Verbeek at hverbeek@police.belleville.on.ca or (613) 966-0882 ext. 4134.    

Public intoxication

Belleville ON-On the 23rd of September 2019 at 3:30pm police attended the east end of the city regarding a heavily intoxicated male.  The sixty-year old Belleville resident was located and arrested for his own protection and was released when sober.
