Break and Enter - Belleville, Ontario
At approximately 5:39 pm on February 24, 2014
police were called to a vacant residence on Emily Street to investigate a
report of a break and enter. The investigation revealed that sometime in the
previous five days unknown person(s) had entered the home through an unlocked
door. Water taps had been turned on in the upstairs and main floor and the
sinks had been plugged causing flooding. There was only minor damage to the
home and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with any information about
this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte
Crimestoppers.

At approximately 12:23 am police were called
by a passerby to investigate a report of an audible alarm at a business in the
200 block of Front Street. Upon arrival officers discovered that the glass in
the front door had been smashed out and the door unlocked from the outside.
Nothing was reported as being stolen from inside and the investigation is
continuing. Anyone with any information about this occurrence is asked to call
the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
