Escape Lawful Custody, Warrants


BELLEVILLE, ON - On 24 July 2018 in the early evening, a female party who had outstanding warrants for her arrest was located by police in the North end of the city. The female was arrested and taken to the Belleville Police Service. While in transit the female was able to slide one of her hands from her hand cuffs and then reach through bars on the police vehicle and open the cruiser door. The female then ran and was immediately apprehended by officers attempting to flea custody. Alicia Miller-27 of Belleville was held in custody pending a bail hearing 25 July 2018 on the charges of 2 counts of breach of probation and a single count of escaping custody.
