Break and Enters
Belleville, Ontario ? Between 22 ? 25 April, 2011 police attended at residences on Moira Street West, Tracey Park Drive, Elgin Street and Pine Street in response to complaints of break and enters. The culprits gained entry via unlocked doors, and a window, c.d.'s were stolen.
Belleville, Ontario -On 24 April, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. police attended at a residence on Bleecker Avenue in response to a complaint of a suspicious male that had entered the residence without the permission of the occupants. This male left the residence and was last seen riffling through parked cars and was described as wearing a blue wig. Police located a male attempting to ride a bike that matched the description previously provided in the area of Emily Street and Bleecker Avenue. Investigation led to the arrest of a 28 year old Belleville male for Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence. This male will appear in Provincial Court on 26 April, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. for a bail hearing.
Belleville, Ontario ? On Sunday, 24 April, 2011 at 11:14 p.m., police were called to attend in the area of Tripp Avenue to assist ambulance. Upon arrival police learned that 2 males (aged 68 and 33) were robbed while exiting their vehicle. Both males reported that while exiting the vehicle they were sprayed with a "pepper spray? type of substance. The 68 year old male reported being struck multiple times in the face/head area and the thieves robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. This investigation is ongoing.
