Safety Warning
Belleville Police Service would like to remind the public of the dangers related to unsafe ice conditions given the recent warmer than normal temperatures.

Please remember that ice that has formed over flowing water and around the mouths of rivers can be weaker than the surrounding ice and to take extra precautions when travelling on frozen lakes.

Check with Ministry of Natural Resources Information Centre at 1-800-667-1940 for current ice conditions.
