Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville Ontario, At 130 pm officers attended on Dundas St W in regards to a motor vehicle collision. A female driver exited a business on the north side of the road. She accelerated across the road and struck a pole on the south side. There was substantial damage to the car and the pole. The driver received minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.


Belleville, Ontario On 24 July, 2012 police would like to remind the public of the ongoing scams that have yet again prevailed in our community. Recently numerous residents have reported that they have been contacted by telephone by an unknown person claiming that a relative has been injured in an accident or arrested outside of the area and there is a need for emergency financial assistance or that the resident has been awarded a large sum of stemming from a lottery or death from another country.

Belleville Police ask that anyone in receipt of these types of calls remember that the scammer is expecting that you will want to act quickly to help your loved ones in an emergency. At that time, take a minute to protect yourself by

  • Verifying the callers storey (information) with another family member or someone you trust and get a second opinion;
  • Asking the caller personal information that only your family member would know and
  • never give your personal or financial information out over the phone.

Belleville,Ontario : At 0126 a/m officers attended at the parking lot beside the river as a result of a disturbance complaint. Upon arrival officers arrested a Belleville woman in her thirties for public intoxication. As police were arresting her a ,ale became involved and was arrested for breach of the peace. The female was released with a fine and the male was released unconditionally.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking

Belleville Ontario, At 0326 hrs officers attended in the area of the new courthouse as a result of a call of three males in the work site. Upon officers arrival the males ran. Police searching the area located one of the suspects. Officers found scales and a quantity of marihuana on him.

Charges : Tristen Boyce 20 yrs old charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, released on a Promise to appear with a court date in Sept.The accused is from Belleville.
