Break & Enter(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? On May 24th police responded to a Break & Enter at a construction site on Cannifton Road. Suspects gained entry through a north patio door on the second level of the building. Several units were forced and entered. Suspects took a number of small tools. This entry occurred sometime between May 23rd at 5:00 p.m. and May 24th at 6:30 a.m.
Police also investigated another Break & Enter at a Dundas Street East address. The Break & Enter occurred sometime between May 23rd 12:00 p.m. and May 24th at 9:00 a.m. Entry was gained through a vent on the east side of the building. Taken were 3 golf wedges, a hockey stick and alcohol.
These incidents are currently under investigation.
Theft(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? Sometime over the weekend suspects cut a hole in the fence of business Farnham Road. Once inside the compound suspects removed a number of tires and a vehicle running board. Approximate value of the theft is $3300.00
Police are also investigating the theft of a trailer that was taken from a construction area on South Church Street. The trailer was taken sometime between the 17th and 18th of May. The trailer is a 6 ton tandem axle, black metal, and is 12'x7' in size. The trailer has an electronic dump hoist and is bearing plate number F2247A. The approximate value of the trailer is $7000.00
Police would like to request that if members of the public should see anyone acting suspicious or appear to be ?out of place' in an area such as a new construction site or business location after hours to please report it to police immediately.
