Belleville, Ontario ? On May 24th, 2012, at 10:45 a.m. Police attended at a on St. Charles Street in response to . This occurred on May 23rd, 2012 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry and stole . This investigation is ongoing.

Neighbour disputes

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 24th, 2012, at 9:00 p.m., Officers attended on Russell Street in response to a heated neighbour dispute. One neighbour was so upset that she took off her shoes and threw them at the Officers. One shoe narrowly missed an Officer while the other found its mark. A 28 year old Belleville woman was arrested at this point for assaulting a Police Officer. This appeared to have a calming effect on the woman as the Officers were able to resolve the initial neighbour dispute. The apologetic woman was released unconditionally at the scene with no charges.

On May 24th, 2012, at 11:15 p.m., Police attended on Bridge Street West in relation to another neighbour dispute. A 25 year old Belleville man was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged in the cells. No charges were laid in this matter.

Theft

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 24th, 2012, at 6:30 p.m., Police attended at a west end business on Dundas Street West. A local driveway sealing company advised that a large blower had been stolen from their worksite between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. It is described as a Little Wonder blower that has three wheels on it. Given the weight of it, two or more people would be required to lift it. It has an approximate value of $1200.00. Any information on this theft can be forwarded to the Belleville Police Service or Crimestoppers.
