The Belleville Police Service responded to 64 calls between September 24th 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and September 25th 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

 

Traffic charges

Belleville ON-On September 24th 2019 at 4pm Belleville Police conducted a vehicle stop on Bell Boulevard.  Further investigation revealed that the driver did not have a license and that the license plates attached to the vehicle were not registered to it.  As a result, the 41-year old Belleville resident was charged and given a traffic court date.

 

Strange behavior

Belleville ON-On September 24th 2019 Belleville Police received multiple calls throughout the morning regarding a male who was observed entering backyards of residences in the west end of the city.  While in the backyards the male would cause minor mischief and exhibit strange behavior.  The 49-year old male was eventually located and brought to the hospital for a medical assessment.
