Belleville, Ontario On September 24th, 2013, at 2:38 p.m., a stolen 2002 Chevy Suburban struck a car and a hydro pole on Bell Blvd. at the Quinte Mall. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the accident. No one was injured in the accident. The stolen vehicle continued east on the 401. Given the high speeds, the pursuit was discontinued. The vehicle was located abandoned in Kingston. At 5:30 p.m., a 29 year old Belleville man was arrested by Kingston Police.
This male was returned to Belleville as he is wanted on warrants for another stolen vehicle from September 15th, 2013. His charges in this incident include break, enter and theft, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and drive while prohibited. That stolen vehicle was recovered in Kingston as well.
