Drug Offences
Belleville, ON – A traffic stop resulted in a 56 year old man being charged with drug possession by Belleville Police. A vehicle was pulled over in the east end at 8:35 pm and the passenger was found to be in possession of cocaine. As a result, the suspect was charged with a single count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and will appear in court on December 20th.
Liquor License Act
Belleville, ON – Police were called to a disturbance in the north end of the city at 11:34 pm. A 31 year old man consumed too much alcohol and was unable to care for himself in a safe manner. He was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor License Act and issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
