Motor Vehicle vs Cyclist Collision
Belleville, Ontario – At 3:19pm the Belleville Police and EMS responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a cyclist at the intersection of Dundas St. East and Farley Ave. A 32 year old female from Belleville was treated at the scene by EMS and then transported to BGH with non-life threatening injuries. Police spoke to several witnesses at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
Assault with a Weapon and Utter Death Threats Charge
Belleville, Ontario – On the 23rd of June 2017, Uniformed members of the Belleville Police Service began an investigation into a male who was struck in the face with a glass liquor bottle causing the victim to attend Quinte Health Care – BGH requiring medical attention. As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged an 18 year old Belleville male with Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Death Threats. The male was released on a Promise to Appear with an Officer In Charge Undertaking. The male will appear in court on the 10th of August 2017.
