Belleville, Ontario ? Between Friday, 23 September, 2011 at 9:38 p.m. and Sunday 25 September, 2011 at 7:08 a.m., police attended at three residences on Catharine Street in response to complaints of intentional fires being set. Two of the fires involved garbage and couches that were out for disposal pickup. The third incident was reported to have been a gray van that was intentionally set on fire.
On Sunday, 25 September, 2011 at 7:17 a.m., police attended at a business on Coleman Street in response to a dumpster that was set on fire.
These investigations are being jointly investigated by Belleville Police Service and Belleville Fire Department.

Assault With a Weapon & Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Belleville, Ontario ? On 25 September, 2011 at 1:46 a.m., police were on general patrol in a parking lot on North Front Street and observed 2 males (employees of a North Front Street business) taking another male to the ground.
It is alleged that the male taken to the ground had sprayed "dog deterrent pepper powder? at another male.
Rowen Darren Joffe (21 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count each of Assault With a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
Joffe will appear in Provincial court on 10 November, 2011.
Break and Enter
Belleville, Ontario ? On 24 September, 2011 at 4:24 a.m., police attended at a residence on South John Street in response to a report of a break and enter to a garage. It was reported that the culprit(s) stole hunting gear and a nailer.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 25 September, 2011 at 10:45 p.m., police attended at a residence on Wellington Crescent in response to a report of a break and enter that was reported to have occurred between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m., where prescription drugs and money were stolen.
These investigations are ongoing.
Belleville, Ontario ? Overnight on Saturday 24 September, 2011 unknown person(s) flattened tires and damaged road signs and gates on Plumpton Road, Harmony Road and Obrien Road.
