Theft of Election Signs -  Belleville, Ontario

 On Saturday August 22, 2015 at approximately 12:37 pm police were contacted by a representative of one of the candidates for the upcoming federal election who reported the theft of a large number of election signs. The signs had been taken from various locations in the east end of the city. The public is reminded that interfering with election signs is a criminal offence. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
