Belleville, Ontario ? On 25 January 2012, at 4:30 p.m. Police attended at a on Wellington Cres. in response to . Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry and stole . This occurred between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This investigation is ongoing.

Traffic Enforcement

Belleville, Ontario ? On 25 January 2012, at 9:45 a.m., Police observed a male driver "doing donuts? in his car near pedestrians in a parking lot off of College Street West. The officer stopped the spinning car and an 18 year old Belleville man was charged with Dangerous Driving. He will appear in Court on 23 February 2012. No one was injured in this incident.

At 2:40 p.m., an officer stopped a car for speeding. Further investigation revealed that the car had stolen licence plates on it. The driver was also a suspended driver. The 27 year old Belleville man will appear in Court on 23 February 2012 on charges of Possession of Stolen Property, two counts of breach of probation, driving under suspension, and speeding. His car was towed from the scene.

At 4:00 p.m., Police attended at the intersection of Dundas St. West and Palmer Road in relation to a two car collision. A passenger in one of the vehicles suffered minor injuries which did not require medical attention. Both cars sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene. A 42 year old Belleville woman was charged with failing to stop a red light. The intersection was cleared by 5:00 p.m.

At 6:15 p.m., an officer stopped a car for speeding. It was learned that the driver was also a suspended driver. A 23 year old Belleville man was charged with Driving under Suspension and Speeding and will appear in Traffic Court on 05 March 2012. His car was towed from the scene.
