Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 8:05 am on March 25, 2013 police were called to a Tank Farm Road business to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime over the weekend a shed on the property had been entered and a generator and a quantity of copper wire were stolen. The generator was described as a Honda model #EU2000K. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Assault Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 2:35 pm on March 25, 2013 police were called to investigate an assault which had occurred at approximately noon on Tank Farm Road near the Esso Oil Distribution Centre. Two males were involved in an altercation and one was assaulted and suffered minor injuries. A witness stopped at the scene to assist the victim and police need to speak to him. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882 and speak to the investigating officer Constable Dan Hounslow.

Mischief Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 7:05 pm on March 25, 2013 police were called to the Bridge Street East / George Street area of the city to investigate a report of vandalism. A male youth had been observed writing graffiti on three different mailboxes and newspaper boxes in the east end using white coloured ink. The youth had fled prior to police arrival and is described as 15-17 years of age wearing a grey hoodie and carrying a lime green skateboard. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
