Information for Motorists

As a result of roadway hazard concerns and environmental complaints about garbage in some areas of the City, including Mudcat Road, the Belleville Police Service Traffic Management Unit would like to remind all motorists that any load they carry must be properly secured.  In the case of a truck or trailer, any potentially insecure load in the box must be tied down and/or covered to prevent the loss of any item onto the roadway.   The fine for having an insecure load is $160.
