Disturbance- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 25th of September at 9:55Am Belleville Police responded to a disturbance call on North Park Street. Four persons were involved in an altercation with some of the combatants armed with baseball bats. Some of the parties left prior to Police arrival. A 28yr old female was arrested and transported Belleville Police Services for breach of the peace. She was later released. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cst. Bested or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

 

Residential Fire- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 25th of September at 12:28 Belleville Police and Fire responded to a structure fire at 28 Queen Street, Belleville, Ontario. One person was taken to Belleville General Hospital for treatment of injuries. Belleville Fire, Police and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

 

Thefts- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 25th of September at 6:30Pm Police responded to a call for a male breaking into vehicles on Front Street. Police located the male nearby. Investigation revealed the male had stolen items from 2 vehicles. Joseph Hagan 20yrs was charged with 2 counts of theft and 1 count of breaching a probation order. He was released on a promise to appear and turned over to Quinte West OPP on outstanding arrest warrants.
