Belleville, Ontario  - In two separate occurrences, two males were arrested by police on outstanding warrants.


In the first instance, on May 26, 2014 at 1:54 pm, police responded to a residence on Benjamin Street to assist the CAS.  As a result, a 28 year old male was located at this residence and arrested on outstanding warrants from both the Belleville Police Service and the Stirling Rawdon Police Service.  After further investigation, this male was also charged with Breach of Recognizance x 2 as he was found to be in contravention of two conditions of an earlier release and is held for a bail hearing 27 May 2014.


In the second instance, on May 26, 2014 at 7:25 pm, police located a 46 year old male at a residence in the north end of the city that was also wanted on a warrant by the Prince Edward OPP.  He was subsequently arrested and later turned over to the OPP.
